Obituary for Ronald "Ron" Lemon

Ronald Edgar Lemon, 76, passed away Thursday, March 3, 2016 at his home in Yukon, Oklahoma.He was a retired salesman and college recruiter. He was married to wife Nataliya December 21, 2001 in Bethany Oklahoma.
A graveside service will be at 2:00 pm, Thursday, March 10, 2016, at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. There will be a visitation and informal ceremonies prior to that at Stroud’s Funeral Home.
Ron was born to John and Esther Lemon October 14, 1939 in Hobart, Oklahoma. He graduated with a B.A. in Business from Oklahoma State University in 1964. Upon graduation he worked as a salesman for Friskies in Oklahoma City. He became the Co-Owner of Dupree’s Sports in Stillwater in 1966 and the business became Dupree Lemon Sporting Goods until his departure. He started Rent-A-Seat University Stadium Seats which he maintained until his retirement. He was a nationally renowned college wrestling recruiter serving under four National Championship Coaches at Oklahoma State University. He was also a reporter writer for Amateur Wresting News and USA Wrestler. He loved watching his children grow up and coaching his sons’ baseball teams, watching them wrestle and play football and officiating high school football. Recently he enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and their activities, watching them wrestle and play ball. He was an avid sports fan and especially enjoyed following Oklahoma State Wrestling and vacationing with his lovely wife Nataliya.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Ray. He is survived by his sister Jeanean Dees of Hobart, Oklahoma and his children, their mother Karen Jane Gallagher of Stillwater, Oklahoma and 10 grandchildren and great grandchildren. Children include Rocky R. Lemon and wife Stefanie Suzanne of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Kenneth Randolph Lemon and wife Joni Lynn of Wichita, Kansas and Kara Lee Lemon of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Grandchildren include Lincoln Gallagher Lemon, Merideth Lindley Lemon and fiancé Armando Ochoa, O’Neill Lightfoot Gallagher-Garcia, Austella Rose Gallagher, Lauren DeAnn Lemon, Austin Gallagher Lemon, Ava Suzanne Lemon and Olivia Jane Lemon. Great Grandchildren include Casandra Isabel Lemon and Leo Armando Ochoa.
Ron will be missed but not forgotten. He was a son, husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, coach and child of God.
