Edith Lucille (Loomis) Pierce, 84, died on November 13, 2016 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. There will be a family lunch at the Old Senior Citizen Center in Glencoe from 11:30 to 1:00 on Sunday, November 27, 2016. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 in the Mount Vernon Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
She was born on July 15, 1932 to Harvey Clinton Loomis and Rosa May Ventris in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She married Francis W. Pierce in August of 1949 and had 3 children, Mary, Fanny, and Randy and divorced in 1973.
She was a 30 year resident of Glencoe, Oklahoma. She worked as a housekeeper throughout her life when her health permitted it.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, four brothers, two sisters, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, two nieces, two nephews, one great nephew and son-in-law; Jack Miller and wife, Mildred Miller; Thomas Majors and wife, Arra (Webb) Majors and their daughter, Lucille Burrell and husband, Kenneth; Leo Majors and wife, Nellie and their son Raymond; James Majors and wife, Alta and their daughter Carolyn Vickers and husband, Pete, and son Ricky Majors and wife Linda and grandson David; Mable Phelps and husband, Everett; Flossie Clayton and husband, Suler and their son Johnnie; son-in-law John Murray.
She is survived by one son and two daughters: Son, Randy Pierce and wife, Susan and two children, Brenden Pierce, Kristiee Moorman and husband, Matt their daughters, Alayna and Braylee; Daughter; Mary Fineout and husband, Michael and five children, Frankie Dawn Johnson and husband Robin their children Andy Herod and Samantha McDowell, Noah Johnson, Wesley Johnson and wife Candace and daughters Carley, Brooklyn, Arah; Shari Tice and husband Doug and children Shawna Towles and son Nixon, Cody Towles and son Keagan and Mitch Towles; Summer Graham and husband Henry their children Andrea, Mikayla, Zackery, and Summer; one son; Jacob Prince and wife, Amber and children Asher, Arthur, Gabrial and Zekiel; daughter; Autumn Prince; Daughter; Fanny Denny and husband, Tony and their two children Philip Morse and wife, Melissa and daughters, Ashley Rose and Katy Dawn; daughter; Samantha Eagan and daughters Kandra Thompson and Lillian Eagan. She has numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins in Pawnee, Payne, Tulsa, and Creek counties.
