Brenda Lynn Bullard, 51, died on January 23, 2017 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Family will greet friends at Strode Funeral Home on Thursday, January 26, 2017, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. A graveside service will be held 10:00 Friday, January 27, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A celebration of her life will follow at 11:30 in the Hillcrest Baptist Church of Stillwater, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born on February 24, 1965 to Keith and Ona Childers in Nampa, Idaho. She took the hand of Kendall Bullard in marriage on August 16, 1986 in Glencoe, Oklahoma. They had two beautiful children together which she was so proud of and loved very much.
She graduated from Glencoe High School. She went onto college to obtain her Bachelor’s of Science in 1990 and Master’s in Elementary Education in 2001; she was a member of Cross Brand Cowboy Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
She loved to cook, she was known for her pecan and chocolate pies. She loved sitting by the pond with Kendall and family and they would spend hours talking. Brenda loved riding horses and being with her dad. Brenda’s resume has so many Doctors, Lawyers, Accountants and other professionals that thanked her for being their teacher. Former Students have thanked her for the impact she has had on their lives. She was a fighter and in 11 years never quit fighting her cancer; she never complained, never felt sorry for herself and never gave up. She will be missed by so many friends and family.
She is preceded in death by her Grandparents Guy and Earnestine Bullard, Geraldine and Rudy Nedbalek, Orville Childers and her Father-in-law, Bruce Bullard.
She is survived by her Husband, Kendall Bullard; one son, Keegan Bullard of Fairview; one daughter, Kaitlyn Bullard of the home; her parents; one brother, Brian and Julie Childers of Mannford, Oklahoma; Brother-in-law, Cory and Denise Bullard of Glencoe, Oklahoma; Sister-in-law, Calissa Kennedy of Stillwater, Oklahoma and Mother-in-law, Roberta Kay Bullard of Stillwater, Oklahoma.
