Albert Wayne Reed age 91 of Morrison, OK passed away Friday, February 13, 2026. He was born June 12, 1934 in Marshall, AR, the son of Roy Wayne and Ona Reed. A visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 18th, 2026 between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Following the visitation, there will be a private family burial. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Wayne (he preferred to go by his middle name) lived his early years in Arkansas before moving to Stillwater, OK where he met Nora Carpenter. They were married on May 21, 1957. Wayne and Nora settled in Morrison, OK where they would have two children. Wayne was a long time employee for W.D. Eggers Farms where he worked well into his eighties. He enjoyed the outdoors. When he wasn't on a tractor, combine,or swather at work he loved to be standing on the bank of a pond fishing or in the woods hunting. His love of agriculture extended into the home as he always planted a huge garden every year. These gardens provided enough vegetables to last his family a whole year. Wayne also loved to share any extra vegetables from his gardens with all his friends and neighbors.

Wayne is survived by his daughter, Waynita Beth and son-in-law William Beth of Harrison, AR; son David Reed of Harrison, AR; granddaughter Cindy Tatom and her husband Judd of Bellefonte, AR; grandson David Beth of Lead Hill, AR; great grandsons Isaiah Fraga and Ace Beth: sisters Mary Ann Morgan of Wynne, AR; Barbara Reznick and Rita Treadwell of Marshall, AR; brother Freddie Horton of Marshall, AR; Larry Hoffman and wife Iva of Calico Rock, AR; sister-in-laws Ethel Reed of Rover, AR and Glenda Reed of Winslow, AR. He will also be missed and remembered by many loving friends in the Morrison community.

Preceded in death by his parents, Roy Wayne Reed and Ona Horton; his Wife Nora Reed; his brothers Dee Reed, Coy Reed, Troy Reed, Lewis Horton; his sister Billie Jo Tatum.
