Alma Williams, 84, died February 26, 2024. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 7, 2024 at the Bible Baptist Church with burial following at 3:00 p.m. in the Wetumka Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Alma was born January 26, 1940 to Wallace R. and Ophelia Alma (Knapp) Smith in Weleetka, Oklahoma. She was 16 years old when she married Wendell Williams on February 2, 1956. They spent 68 years together until his passing.


Alma is preceded in death by both parents and her husband, her brother John Wallace Smith; step-sisters, Jacquelyn Westerman and Dona Magnus; her grandson, Jason Williams; nephews, Marlin and David Williams.


She is survived by her children, Alan and wife Annette Williams, Sharon and husband Tony Andrews, Mark (Bill Bill ) Williams, Tammie Herell, Eric and his wife Tessa Williams; grandchildren Vanessa and husband Jeremy Reagan, Crystal and husband Andrew Stewart, Jessie and husband Jason Gage, Erik and Charies Bedford, and Matthew Williams; as well as 14 great grand-children.
