Angela Lockwood, 47, passed away November 3, 2024 in Perkins, Oklahoma. A visitation with family greeting friends will be 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 6, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, November 7, 2024 in Sunset Memorial Gardens. A celebration of Angela's life will follow at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2024 at Mehan Union Church. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.


Angela was born March 31, 1977 to Theran D. and Deborah Field. She attended Ripley Schools. After graduation she went to Oklahoma Central University where she received her bachelor's degree. She met her husband Daniel Lockwood and they were married on April 15, 2000. They had two beautiful children, Briley and Bryce.


Angela worked for the Payne County Assessor's office for over 25 years and the last 4 years she was their first deputy. Every Saturday morning her and her mother would go garage sale hunting. She loved to take kids on trips to the zoo, museums, swimming, and camping at different lakes.


Angela is preceded in death by her mother, her uncle, Billy D. Sadler; nephew, Richard T. Field; and her grandma, Wilma J Sadler.


She is survived by her husband, her father, her brother, Chris S. Field; daughter, Briley M. Lockwood; and her son, Bryce A. Lockwood; as well as several nieces and nephews.
