Obituary

Barbara Louise Miller, a faithful servant of the Lord, went home to be with her Savior on June 8, 2025 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She was 78 years old. A celebration of her life will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 12, 2025 at the Mehan Union Church with Pastor Larry Elsinger officiating.

Barbara was born on July 5, 1946 to Elmo and Martha (Hicks) Lamb in Iola, Kansas. She was united in marriage to Tommy Jack Miller on June 25, 1965, at Southside Baptist Church in Stillwater. Together, they shared 60 years of love and devotion.

Barbara was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother whose life reflected her faith. She lived with a servant's heart, always ready to care for others, and found great joy in her family and in serving her church community.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Beverly Shenold.

She is survived by her husband and lifelong companion, Jack Miller; her daughter, Melanie Ballard and her husband Todd; her son, Tommy Miller, and his wife Toby. Barbara was a proud and loving grandmother to Tarron Ballard and his wife Meagan, Taylor Ballard and wife Shelbi, Trevor Ballard and wife Shelby, Ally Williams and husband Seth, and Cole Miller. She was also blessed with six great-grandchildren, Brooks, Sutton, Aurora, Lincoln, and Penelope Ballard, and Oakley Williams and another great-grandson expected to arrive in July. She is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.

While her earthly presence will be deeply missed, we rejoice in knowing she is face to face with Jesus, singing with the angels, and reunited with loved ones who have gone before her

The family welcomes memorial contributions to the Mehan Union Church Funeral Meal Fund, 8300 E. 68th St., Stillwater, OK 74074, in honor of Barbara's generous spirit and lifelong commitment to serving others.
