Beverlee Lorraine (Arentsen) Dunham passed from this life on October 1, 2023 at the age of 71. A mass of Christian burial will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 5, 2023 at the St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Bev was born on February 16, 1952 in St. Louis, Missouri, where she graduated from Parkway High School. She attended the University of Tulsa from 1970-1975, where she met her eventual husband. Both were music majors at the time. Bev played the piano and organ for her home church in St. Louis. She enjoyed classical and gospel music, and played at various churches in Tulsa.

She married Stan on March 31, 1973, and traveled to various Army bases with him, including, White Sands Missile Range, New Mexico, Alaska, and Dugway Proving Grounds, Utah. After helping her husband through college, she and Stan moved to Stillwater in January 1980.

Bev worked as an administrative assistant for the College of Business at Oklahoma State University. Bev and Stan retired from Oklahoma State University in 2012. They are active members of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stillwater.

She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Stanley Michael Dunham. Her children Stanley Lucas Dunham and Erin Lorraine Dunham Moore. Her sister, Donna Sue Grebe and two brothers, Robert and Rick Arentsen.
