Obituary

Billy Luke Lane passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2024 in Stillwater. A celebration of his life will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Victory Life Church.

Billy was born April 10, 1956 to Ralph Lane and Juanita (Tatum) Hendricks in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He was a cook most of his life working in restaurants and OSU sorority houses. Billy met his wife Mary Denise Lane in 1985 and they married July 22, 1995. They spent most of their years raising their kids in Albany, Oregon. They moved to Stillwater in 2007.

Billy was known for his love of fishing. Any free time he had you could find him on any lake or river with his pole in the water. Billy loved camping, flower gardening, being an amazing cook, and animals. He especially loved his dogs. Most of all, he loved his family. He enjoyed being outside with his grand kids, watching them play and hearing them say, "Hey Papa, watch this".

Billy is preceded in death by both parents, his stepdad Howard Hendricks, sister, Diane Parks; sister Patricia Maddox and his wife, Mary Denise Lane.

He is survived by his children, Joyce and Mickey Valdez of Twin Falls, Idaho, Billy Luke Lane II and Mandy Lane of Twin Falls, Idaho, Jeremy and chance Carter of Lewiston, Idaho, Deanna and David Vineyard of Pawnee, Oklahoma, Cori and Shawn Thomas of Cottonwood, California, and Callie and Jason Wells of Perkins, Oklahoma; his loving grandkids, Bruce Jr. Hays, Levi Hays, Michael Hays, Billy Luke Lane III, Sky Alexander, Makenzie Vineyard, Shahalie Hughes, Dylyn Hughes, Laci Lane, Erin Thomas, Jacob Gainer, Ava Wells, Alayna Wells and Corbin Wells; Great grandkids Kane Hays, Haven Hays, Aurora Hays, and Declan and Zaela Britton. As well as his sisters, Beverly Davis, Anita Westling, and Connie Griffith; and his brother, Kenny Lane.

The family would like to thank everyone for the love and support during this difficult time.
