It is with great sadness that the family of Brenda Kay Brandon, 65, of Coyle, Oklahoma, announces her passing on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with her loving family by her side. Funeral services for Brenda Brandon will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. A graveside service will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Brenda was born on February 10, 1959, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Roy Kenneth and Wanda Lee Mosby. She married Bruce I. Brandon on May 28, 1987, in Perkins, Oklahoma, and raised their two children in Coyle. She was very proud of all the jobs she held over the years. She worked for a while as a nurse's assistant, then worked at Ralph's packing plant for her aunt and uncle. She retired from OSU after working for almost 40 years as a supervisor for OSU Dining Services.

She is preceded in death by her son, Brandon Scott Robertson; father Roy Mosby; mother Wanda Lee Cook; and her stepfather, Bob Cook.

Brenda will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Bruce Brandon; daughter Jeannie Hillan and husband, Carlos; son Kyle Brandon and wife, Brenda; 17 grandchildren (Jaden, Rachel, Kylie, Martina, Sierra, Cruz, Kyleigh, Kenna, Malachi, Jakob, Daxtyn, Justice, Ryker, Laney, Kyler, Bryik, and Bryer); 3 great-grandchildren (Hallie, Jeremiah, and Ryan); brother Kirk Mosby; sisters Sheila Ferrell and Lynette Greer and husband Jimmy; step-sister, Mary Barton; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
