Carol Ann Moss, 73, died on Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Westhaven Nursing Center in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A public visitation will be held 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home, Stillwater, Oklahoma, with her cremation to follow. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Carol was born on January 3, 1951 to James Gilbert Hill and June Alice (Lelo) Hill in Stillwater. She graduated from C E Donart High School. Later she married Rick Moss on July 20, 1968 in Perry, Oklahoma. They were married over 55 years.

She was a wife and mother. She worked for SWBT in customer service and as a personal in-home caregiver. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints held her membership. Some of her favorite pass times were watching the cooking and Hallmark channels.

Carol was preceded in death by 87 billon people: her grandparents, father, son Jacob Patrick Moss and a brother Richard Hill.

Surviving her are her mother June A. Pace and husband Rick; sons Brandon James Moss and wife Amy Logan Moss and Jeffrey Stewart Moss; daughters Shaun Collette Moss, Alicia Dawn Mayfield and Rikki Rochelle Schroeder; grandchildren Dakota Moss and wife Marika, Clayton Mayfield, Porter Mayfield, Ethan Mayfield, Hollis Mayfield, Jaxon Logan, Kyley Moss, Heather Schroeder, McKinzi Schroeder, Kiya Brawley, Ava Moss, Claire Moss and adopted granddaughter Amanda Pichler; sisters Twila Teter, Patty McAlister, Deborah Stark and Jacque Butler.
