It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Carolyn Ann Field (Day). She passed away unexpectedly yet peacefully on December 3, 2024 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A celebration of life will be from 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. December 26, 2024 at Cimarron Hotel and Suites at 315 N. Husband Street in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

She was born on February 10, 1937 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Marvin Deo Day and Audrey May Day. She was a proud resident of Stillwater, Oklahoma and was a 1955 graduate of C.E. Donart High School.

She married her high school sweetheart, Kenneth Leland Field on December 18, 1955. They married the day after Kenneth turned 18 years old. They would have celebrated 69 years together this month.

Carolyn was a devoted housewife and mother. Her hobbies and activities she enjoyed were gathering weekly with her girlfriends to eat lunch and play a mean game of dominos, engaging with friends at Golden Oaks and supporting OSU sports. She played with Lakeside Ladies Golf Association for many years, was a member of Sonic Bowling League, Sunnybrook Women's Bible Study, and was an avid "Traveling Twelve" ringleader. They traveled various destinations including Canada, Mexico, Caribbean and multiple states. Although she enjoyed spending time with her friends her true love was found sitting on a bleacher. She would be sighted cheering on her sons, Kenney Lee & Michael Wayne throughout their high school and college athletic careers. This continued on with her grandchildren as she and Kenneth traveled near and far to support them in football, baseball, basketball, soccer, volleyball, dance and pom. Being blessed with her sons raising their families in Stillwater, there was a lot of time spent at her home and pool. She loved to entertain. Everyone knew and called Carolyn, "Mamaw". She had a very big personality and brought laughter and joy to everyone she met. If you had the opportunity to sit next to her for 10 minutes, you were almost guaranteed to hear a story! Her journey does not end here, but will be carried on in our memory and hearts, as years from now a story will surely be re-told.

Proceeded by parents, Marvin and Audrey Day and brother, Jack Day. Surviving family include husband, Kenneth Field, sons, Dr. Kenney Field & wife Brenda. Mike Field & wife Melanie. Grandchildren, Dillon Field, Garrett Field, Taylor Field, Grant Field & wife Brittany, Madison Beckman & husband John and Kennedy Field along with precious great grandson, Nolan Grey Field.
