Carolyn Jean Hamilton, age 87, of Perkins, Oklahoma, passed away on August 6, 2025. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at Dewey Cemetery in Dewey, Oklahoma, officiated by Robert Lee. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

She attended Dewey High School and later married the love of her life, Larry Hamilton, in Kankakee, Illinois. Carolyn worked for many years as a dedicated sales associate at Kay Jewelers, where she was known for her warmth, grace, and kindness.

Carolyn had a passion for the simple joys of life. She found happiness in gardening, participating in horse shows, and cooking for her family. Her meals and her smile were always a comfort to those around her.

She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Hamilton; her parents Kenneth and Juanita Nelson; sister Delores Robinson; and daughter Kimberly Davidson.

Carolyn is survived by her devoted daughter, Cindy Ford; grandchildren, Carime Fugua, Thomas Davidson, Jeff Engleman; great-grandchildren Adalyn Fugua, Dylan Davidson, Emily Davidson, Jeff Jr. Engleman, and Spencer Engleman.

The family wishes to extend their deepest thanks to Robert Lee, the caring staff at Redbud Assisted Living, and Companion Hospice for their compassionate support during Carolyn's final days.
