Catherine Elizabeth "Katie" Sinn passed away peacefully at her home in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 13, 2026. She was surrounded by the love of her family, and her final words, spoken in response to Noal, her husband of 63 years, were "I love you more."

Katie was born on September 22, 1943 in Coulterville, Illinois, and was raised in nearby Marissa. On June 22, 1963, she married the love of her life, Noal Sinn, beginning a marriage full of love and devotion that would span more than six decades.

The couple made their first home in Sparta, Illinois, where Katie worked for many years as a radiology technologist at Sparta Community Hospital. In 1984, Noal's career with World Color Press brought the family to Stillwater, Oklahoma. His work later took them to Kansas City, Charlotte, and Mount Vernon, Illinois. After retiring in 2003, they returned to Stillwater to be near their daughters and grandchildren.

Katie's greatest joy was her family. She created a warm, welcoming home showing love through countless acts of kindness. She had a servant's heart, always putting the needs of others before her own: last-minute babysitting, hemming clothes for her daughters, and sewing patches onto her grandchildren’s uniforms were common acts. Affectionately known as "Nana" by her grandchildren,she cherished every opportunity to gather everyone together for meals, holidays, and celebrations. Nothing brought her greater happiness than spending time with those she loved.

Katie and Noal enjoyed traveling and took many trips over the years. They especially enjoyed the many cruises they shared with both family and friends. In retirement, Katie and Noal became active members of both the Stillwater Car Club and Corvettes of Enid. The special friendships they formed through these organizations brought them great joy and enriched their lives. Together, they attended car shows and car cruises throughout the region and traveled on many Corvette trips across the country, creating treasured memories with dear friends.

Katie is survived by her devoted husband, Noal; her daughters, Susan (Blake) and Tricia (Steve); and her beloved grandchildren, Jacob and Kate. She is also survived by her brother, Dennis; her sisters-in-law, Carol, Linda, and Susie; and many cherished nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arlie and Dorothy Smith; her siblings, Jerry, Arlene, Edward, John, Dan, and Raymond, who died at birth.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the compassionate caregivers at Cornerstone Caregiving and Companion Healthcare for the exceptional care, kindness, and support they provided during her final days.

Katie will be remembered for her unwavering love, quiet generosity, and steadfast devotion to her family and friends. She gave freely of herself, always placing others first and making those around her feel deeply loved. Her kindness, grace, and gentle spirit will be missed beyond words, but the legacy of love she leaves behind will continue to live on in all who were blessed to know her.
