McEuen
Feb 20, 1960 — Oct 1, 2026
Perry
Cheryl Lynne McEuen, 66, of Perry, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 1, 2026, in Stillwater. Cheryl was born on February 20, 1960, in Marion, Kansas, to Lloyd Wayne Sklenar and Carol Jean (Bullock) Harms. She graduated with the Newton High School Class of 1978.
Cheryl was a hardworking and dedicated woman who took great pride in her work. She spent 28½ years working for Boeing/Spirit AeroSystems as a Defense and Space Expeditor and PCA for Defense. Her strong work ethic and commitment were an important part of who she was.
On May 16, 1998, Cheryl married the love of her life, Michael Wayne McEuen, in Wichita, Kansas. Together they shared more than 24 years of marriage until Mike’s passing on December 9, 2022. Cheryl continued to carry his memory with her throughout the years.
Cheryl became an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan after she began dating Mike, and their love of the Chiefs became something special they shared together. They attended many games over the years, creating memories she treasured. On game days, Cheryl could often be heard enthusiastically cheering—and sometimes screaming—at the television as she watched her beloved Chiefs.
Another great love in Cheryl’s life was her German Shepherds. Over the years, she was blessed to have five German Shepherds as part of her family. Her dogs brought her tremendous companionship and joy.
Cheryl is survived by: her beloved German Shepherd: Willow and Terrier Mix: Elli; Her father: Lloyd Wayne Sklenar; Her sister: Darla Kasper and husband Kevin of Newton, Kansas; Her niece: Kaylee Nightingale and husband Connor; Nephew: Dustin Stevens; Great nephews: Joshua Torrez, Canon Nightingale and Roscoe Stevens; Step-daughter: Shannon Black; Step grandchildren: Zana, Zion, and Jaysa; and 5 step great-grandchildren.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her mother: Carol Jean (Bullock) Harms and step-father: Arthur Harms; and her beloved husband, Michael Wayne McEuen.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Sissy Thea Kilpatric and her husband, David, for all the love, care, and support they provided to Cheryl and Mike throughout the years. Their kindness and friendship meant so much to them.
Cheryl leaves behind a legacy of hard work, dedication, love, and loyalty. She will be remembered for the people and animals she loved, her devotion to her family, her passion for the Kansas City Chiefs, and the many memories she created throughout her life. Though she is deeply missed, the love she shared with those around her will continue to live on in their hearts.
Cremation services have been entrusted to Strode Funeral Home in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
