Doyle Wayne McCubbin, 93, died November 25, 2024. A graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, 2024 in Glencoe South Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.


Doyle was born September 30, 1931 to Carl Burell and Bernice (Wilson) McCubbin in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Doyle married Shirley Francis Focht in Stillwater. He served in the Air Force. Doyle received a bachelors in education. He also worked for the Stillwater Postal service


Doyle enjoyed building his cabin. He loved carpentry work, and he loved Red River, New Mexico.


Doyle is preceded in death by both parents, his wife and daughter Debra Kay McCubbin Robinson.


He is survived by his daughter, Pamela L. Brock and her husband Kim; sons, Rick McCubbin, and Scott McCubbin and his wife, Dana; as well as many grandchildren, and great grandchildren.
