Darla Lynne Pino-McClenny, age 63, of Stillwater, died January 13, 2024 in Tulsa surrounded by her family. Friends may visit with the family from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. Sunday January 21, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel, with burial following in Fairlawn Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.


Darla was born to Willie Joe and Phyllis Yvonne (Absher) Doty on August 21, 1960 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. She married Tony Doran and had her two oldest daughters, Melody and Amy. The marriage ended in dissolution. Darla married Silvanus Johnson Udoka, and had her only son, Jonathan. The marriage ended in dissolution. On July 23, 2005 she married Raphael Pino, had her youngest daughter Angel, and was widowed. On October 5, 2008 she married Douglas McClenny, gained her step son, Travis, and was widowed.


Darla was a graduate of Northern Oklahoma College; she earned her degree to work as a registered nurse. She used her degree to care for patients in hospitals, nursing homes, and the home health setting.


Darla grew up attending Hillcrest Baptist Church with her family. Later in life, she attended The Church in Stillwater.


Darla is preceded in death by Raphael Pino, Doug McClenny, her dad Willie (Joe), and grandson Noah.


Darla's smile lit up the room and she had an infectious laugh that touched the hearts of each member of her family. She loved cooking and making sweets for the holidays, which became a tradition that her children will forever cherish. Darla enjoyed family gathering and spending time with the people that she loved.


Members of her family include daughters Melody and husband Kenneth Branch Jr., Amy and husband Terry Stapleton and Angel Pino; son Jonathan and wife Mae Udoka; stepson Travis McClenny; grandchildren Aaron, Noah, Isaiah, Jacob, Jillina, Jennifer, Isabelle, Emma, George, Charlotte, Alex, Nevin, Tressa, and Henry; great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hunter, Mirah, and Zophia; brother David Doty; and sister Dawn Doty Sherwood.
