Darrell White, 77 of Stroud, Oklahoma, passed away on December 13, 2023 in Oklahoma City. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 21, 2023 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma, with Reverend Sondra Ladd presiding. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Darrell Edward was born to Darrell and Lorean (­­­­­­­­­­­Smith) White on November 4, 1946 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He attended school in Ripley, Oklahoma. Darrell married Shirley Honeyman on September 1, 1958. He was a maintenance worker as well as being a member of the Ripley Volunteer Fire Department. Fishing, animals, family time and going to casinos were some of the things Darrell enjoyed.

Darrell was preceded in death by his wife Shirley on April 29, 2003; his parents Darrell and Lorean White; daughter Theresa Medford; step-daughter Joyce Samules and brother Charles White.

Surviving members of Darrell's family are his daughters, Sheila Rasmussen and husband Roy, Tammy Smallwood and Sherry Douglas; 19 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and 5 sisters.
