David Michael Hayes, 82, of Stillwater, died Saturday, February 1, 2025 at his home. Memorial services will begin at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Church Alive (15500 N. Western, Edmond, Oklahoma 73013) with Pastor Jordan Dawson officiating. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Mike was born to Lawrence Hayes and Pattie (Hensley) Hayes on November 17, 1942 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He attended Northwest Classen in Oklahoma City. Mr. Hayes served in the United States Navy where he earned his certification of Nuclear Weapons Specialist. On January 24, 1975 he married Inge (Krupski) and they recently celebrated their 50th Wedding Anniversary. Mike spent most of his career in life insurance, mutual funds, and financial planning. Mike loved shooting guns, playing golf, and building hot rods.

Mike is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers John Hayes, Steve Hayes and his nephew Cole Hayes.

Mike is survived by his wife Inge Hayes MD; sister Barbara Fulton and husband Larry, sister-in-law Kathy Hayes; brother-in-law Jürgen Krupski and wife Irene; sons Michael Hayes and wife Jeannie, Pat Hayes and wife Zan, Ben Hayes and wife Becky; daughter Angela Stave and husband Jon and Kathleen Owen; nephews and nieces Chris Hayes and wife Michelle, Clark Hayes and wife Stephanie, Jan Krupski, Niklas Kummer, Ines Krupski, Angie Hayes; grandchildren Theresa, Samantha, Zachary, Javan, Danielle, Isabella, Landon, Aiden, Alex, Evan, and Penny; numerous nieces, nephews, other family members and friends.
