Donald (Donnie) Wayne Muncrief, 69, passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 in Stillwater. A family memorial will be held at a later date.
Donnie was born to Charlie M. and Gladys M. (Musgrave) Muncrief on May 17, 1954 in Sulphur, Oklahoma. He grew up in Atoka, attending Forest Hill and Harmony grade schools, and was a 1972 graduate from Atoka High School. He also studied electronics at Okmulgee Technology Center, and Kiamichi Technology Center in Atoka.
Donnie lived in Arkoma, Oklahoma and was a Pre-Form Operator at Baldor ABB, Inc of Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was an active member of the Potter's House Apostolic Church in Fort Smith.
Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Paternal grandparents, David M Muncrief and Clara H. Swain, maternal grandparents, Erie S. Musgrave and Stella M. Jones.
He is survived by maternal Aunt Betty L. White of Sulphur; sisters, Patsy D. Moore of Atoka and Jean and husband Charley Lawson of Stillwater; nephews, Chris and Bruce Moore of Atoka, Jeff and wife Toni Lawson of Moore; niece Jennifer and husband Darrin Veit of Stillwater; great nephews Mike Edwards, Dusty Moore, Markus Moore, Lawson Veit, Callen Veit, Gabriel Lawson and Gavin Lawson, Great nieces Taylor Moore and Charlee Lawson.
The family would like to sincerely say "Thank you" to the following for the care, comfort, compassion, and love given to Donnie during his illness: Elara Caring Hospice Care in Sallisaw Angie, Phyllis, Misty, Kaitlin, Renee, and Chaplin Clyde. The Elara Caring Hospice Care of Stillwater, Kayla and Hailey. The Renaissance Assisted Living Center in Stillwater, Tina, Jennifer, Ashley, and Madilin. Brother Troy, Mary Scroggins and fellow members of the Potter's House Apostolic Church for the love, prayers and food. His neighbors Charles and Brian for always being there to help.
