Emmer Sue Seale Berryman of Stillwater, Oklahoma passed peacefully early Saturday morning June 10th, 2023, at her home. Sue's last day on earth and her first day in eternity. No more sorrow, no more tears, the old things have passed away. Sue has a wonderful Savior. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
Sue was married to her high school sweetheart, Victor W. Berryman for 60 years. It was a wonderful marriage and produced two loving children; a daughter Susan and son-in-law William Marlow of Stillwater, OK.; and a son, Robert Riter Berryman and daughter-in-law Jacqueline Berryman of Tulsa, OK.
Sue was a caring wife and mother. Loving and giving of herself in too many ways to count. Always thinking of others before herself. A very unselfish person indeed.
She was also a faithful friend, always willing to help and share her knowledge of many things. She loved cooking, gardening, singing, and crafts of many kinds. Her pine needle baskets were museum quality, yet she freely shared these with her family and friends.
Sue and her husband Victor have been residents of Stillwater since 1978, they both retired from Oklahoma State University.
Sue's parents, Aubrey and Leona Seale, are also deceased; as well as her in-laws, Julian and Marcille Berryman, and her sister-in-law Nancy Berryman.
Sue leaves behind a sister-in-law Norma Lou Seale, widow of her oldest brother Vernon E. (Gene) Seale deceased, of Brookeland, TX and their two grandchildren Isaiah and Isabella Gonzalez. Her surviving brother, Joseph W. (Buddy) Seale and his wife Sylvia of Beaumont, TX.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation to the wonderful providers of the Karmen Legacy Hospice for their kind and caring spirit.
