Flossie June (McKaughan) Focht died August 1, 2024, at the age 92. The funeral will be held on Monday, August 5, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.
Flossie McKaughan was born April 5, 1932 in Ingalls, Oklahoma to Howard Raymond and Lena May (Berry) McKaughan. She was preceded in death by her parents Howard and Lena McKaughan, her brothers Clifford, Ival, Jim, and Gilbert McKaughan, and sister Lavern Reece, and grandson Justin Wayne Focht and great great-granddaughter Lylaylah Kay Orwig.
She is survived by son, Larry Focht, and wife Charlene; son, Billy Focht, and wife Paula; daughter Linda Farrall, and husband Michael; daughter Nancy Johnson and Don Moore; son Roy Focht and wife Lori; son David Focht and wife Alma; daughter Peggy Brady; son Adam Focht and wife Kim. She is also survived by one sibling, Harold McKaughan and 20 grandchildren, 35 great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter.
Flossie graduated from Quay High School in 1949 and married Ray Gerald Focht on October 7, 1950. Flossie and Ray always resided in Payne County throughout their marriage.
Flossie was a homemaker who enjoyed gardening, growing flowers, and sewing clothes for her daughters. They were blessed with eight children and numerous grandchildren throughout their lives.
