Gary Dale Shores, 63, died March 6, 2024. Funeral services will begin at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, March 9, 2024 at the Bah Kho Je Chena Building in Perkins. Burial will follow in the Iowa Tribal Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Gary was born August 17, 1960 to John and Irene (Small) Shores in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gary was a sports fanatic and really enjoyed his football. He also loved black coffee, NASCAR Racing and was an avid OSU fan. He especially loved his family. He was a firefighter for the Iowa Tribe.

Gary was predeceased by his Parents and daughter Antoinette Shores.

Gary was survived by his son Kenna; his daughters, Leah, Gerie, Kana, and Michelle; grandchildren, Zaeden, Izra, Ezekiel, Jameson, and Leland; his brother Gerald and his sisters, Judith and Glenda.
