George "David" Marvel, age 65, died Sunday, October 12, 2025, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. An inurnment will be at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Hot Springs, Arkansas at a later date. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

George was born to George Marvel and Hellen (Withrow) Marvel-Hindman on June 15, 1960, in Lower Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He attended Tayler Michigan for his grade, middle and high school, he graduated with his high school diploma. George joined the Navy where he was stationed on the USS Forrestal for 8 years. He then went on to work at Ford Motor Company and was part of their auto union. George's passions were automotive, and his favorite sport teams which included the Detroit Lions and Detroit Tigers.

George is preceded in death by his parents, and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his brother, Jerry Marvel of Michigan; his sister Cindy (Pichler) Marvel of Michigan, his Aunt Barbara Rogan of Stillwater; Aunt Wanda Hadley of California; and his cousins, Dr. Sean Rogan, Dr. Courtney Rogan, and Brian Rogan.
