Georgie Ray Smith, 71, passed away May 13, 2023. A viewing will be 9:00 a.m. May 25, 2023 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.


Georgie was born January 1, 1952 to Esther May Lefthand in Watonga, Oklahoma.


Georgie had a tough life where he worked hard, played hard, and loved well. He was an Arborist for Oklahoma State University until he was disabled. He was a fan of OSU, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.


Georgie is survived by his ex-wife, Clara Smith; step daughter, Ruth Ann Summers (Jayne); daughter, Georgia Renee Smith, and brother, Norman Miller.
