Gerald Thomas Britt, 72, passed away on January 2, 2025. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at Pawnee First Baptist Church. His family and friends invite all who knew him to join in honoring his memory. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

He was born on April 16, 1952, in Marceline, Missouri, to Tom and Oreta Britt.

Gerald was a beloved husband to Linda Britt and a proud father to his children: Kody Britt, Ezra Britt and his wife Olivia, Tom Britt and his wife Jessie, and Eric Sinden and his wife Naomi. He was also a devoted grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren, each of whom he adored deeply.

Known for his infectious sense of humor, Gerald loved making people laugh and was always the life of the party with his jokes and warm personality. He touched the lives of everyone around him, leaving behind a legacy of love, laughter, and joy.

Gerald will be missed but forever remembered for his kindness, laughter, and the love he shared with those around him.
