Jackie Nell Sine Daugherty, age 75, of Perkins, died Monday, February 5, 2024. The evening service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at the Strode Chapel, with the funeral service beginning at noon Thursday, February 8, 2024 also at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Iowa Tribal Cemetery.


Jackie was born April 19, 1948 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Elzie Ross and Mae Florence (Murray) Sine. She was the granddaughter of Henry and Nelly Tohee Sine and Franklin and Martha Murray.


Jackie retired after more than 20 years as a special education teacher. She received her education from Oklahoma State University. In the 1980's she was a tribal official of the Iowa Tribe of Oklahoma of which she was a member. She loved her family so much and tried to have cookouts and family dinners as often as she could. She was a member of the NAC. She loved to bead and make floral arrangements.


She is survived by her son Patrick (Tracy) Daugherty; granddaughter Paige Daugherty; sister Gabrielle Sine; brother Rickford (Kaye); and cousin/brother Perry AhhaittY.


She will be missed by family and those who knew her.
