James "Jay" Newton Bradley III, 66, passed away on December 17, 2024, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. A visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 23, 2024 at Strode Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Jay was born on Feb. 1, 1958, to James Newton and Ruth (Whitson) Bradley in Stillwater, Oklahoma. Jay graduated from Stillwater High School in 1976. After high school, he started working at Mercury Marine and built his career there as a Product Service Manager. He relocated to Fond du Lac, Wisconsin when the company moved their corporate headquarters in 2011 and retired in March 2023. After his retirement, Jay moved back to Stillwater to be closer to family & friends. He loved spending his time with his family and enjoyed his hobbies. Jay had a real passion for cars, drag racing and street rods. He also enjoyed spending summers at the lake on his boat, camping, and cooking out with his family.

Jay is preceded in death by his parents James Newton Bradley II and Ruth Bradley.

He is survived by his daughter Blair Thacker and her husband Kyle of Edmond; brother Brian Bradley and his wife Lisa of Stillwater; two nephews Blake Bradley and his wife Wendy and sons Wyatt & Luke of Piedmont; Tyler Bradley and his son Tanner of Stillwater.
