James Russell, 42, died December 31, 2023. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, January 5, 2024 at the Life Church in Stillwater. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.
James was born August 31, 1981 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He graduated from high school in May 1999, he went on to college and graduated in May 2017. James was known for having a smile that could light up a room, and a caring heart and soul. He had a love for his wife and kids that was indescribable. James always put family first!
James had a passion for his cars throughout his life, the faster the better! He was known for being outside as much as possible and working on his car or working on his yard! He enjoyed working out with his cross fit group as well as traveling and exploring new places with his family and work group. James attended and served at Life Church with his family.
James was currently working at Toro where he was constantly trying to improve himself in the work field as a better employee and team member.
James is proceeded in death by grandfathers, James Russell, Jim Williams, and Jim Cross; his mimi, Janice Swink, as well as his uncle Jason Russell.
He leaves behind wife, Tiffany Russell; daughter Jocelyn Russell, and son Jett Russell, of Stillwater; his mom Tanda Cross and dad Tony Cross of Perry; brother Johnathan and his children of Stillwater; sister Jessica and husband Rex Goldsberry and their children of Weatherford; stepsisters, Leah and Kara Cross; grandma Donna Cross of Perry; father James Russell and stepmother Gina Russell; two sisters from this union of Yukon; grandma Francis Russell of Moore; mother-in-law, Sherri White of Perkins; brother-in-law Dillion Connell and his wife Tara and their kids of Owasso; as well as many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends.
