In 1950 the Stewart's bought a ranch near Dewey, Oklahoma. In 1956, along with his father and brother, started a rock quarry in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. In 1966 they sold the ranch and quarry and started crushing rock in the Pawnee area. "Lin" loved operating heavy equipment and was always able to show the other operators an easier way to get things done. Under his leadership Stewart Stone flourished.
Lin loved to hunt and fish and was an excellent shot with a rifle. He was able to travel to Alaska several times where he hunted and fished in the ocean for Salmon and Halibut.
He is survived by his six children as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
