Jean McCubbin, age 98, went to meet her heavenly father January 7, 2026. Graveside services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 10, 2026, in the Sunset Memorial Gardens, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Jean was born on March 28, 1927, in Canyon, Texas to Nelson & Thelma Pierce. She was a loving wife & homemaker to Glen O. McCubbin till his death in 2011.

She is preceded in death by her parents, one brother and one sister.

Members of her family include sons Rick Kerns and his wife Pat, Mark Kerns and his wife Rebecca all of Stillwater, Scot Kerns and his wife Joyce of Tulsa; nine grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. We will miss her loving ways, her beautiful smile, her laugh, her amazing wit, and her servant's heart. We are so thankful that she made our lives much brighter and better.

The last 3 months of Jean's life were in the care of Lettishia and Cameron Kerns and their care giver team. We will never be able to thank them for all their help and compassion.
