John Huff, 81, passed away peacefully on June 12, 2023, while under the care of a Cushing nursing home. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Mehan Union Church.

John was born to Tony and Dorothy (Osborne) Huff on September 18, 1941, in Stillwater. John was a devoted husband to Mary Baker, with who he shared a remarkable 61 years of marriage, reaching this milestone on March 10.

John dedicated 25 years of his life to The Stillwater Fire Department before retiring. Following his retirement, he continued his passion for hard work by pumping oil wells and displaying his lifelong carpenter skills.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by brothers Ralphford and Wayne; and his sister Delores. He also experienced the loss of his daughter Almeda; grandbaby's Mary and Andy; and great grandbaby Caellum. Their memories will forever remain in our hearts.

Surviving in addition to his wife Mary; brothers Homer, Tony, and Jack; sisters Carol, and Kaye; his loving children Janet and her husband Earl, Sondra and her husband Eddie, and John and his wife Lorinda. John leaves behind a legacy of love through his 13 grandkids; 24 great grandkids; and numerous nieces and nephews.

John Huff's legacy will be cherished by his family and friends, as he leaves behind a life filled with love and dedication.
