John Edward Olsen, age 64, died Wednesday, October 15, 2025, in Perkins, Oklahoma. No services will be scheduled.
John was born to Dean and Nadine (England) Olsen on September 29, 1961, in Omaha, Nebraska. John attended Derby High School in Kansas, which he left to pursue cabinet making for many years. Following his carpentry work, John became a railroad engineer in Council Bluffs, Iowa. John's hobbies included racing cars and fishing.
John is preceded in death by both of his parents; his sisters, Rita Fidler, and Bonnie Fransis; brothers, Gary Olsen, and Mike Olsen.
He is survived by his sisters; Linda Olsen of Derby, Kansas, Connie Treat and husband Clyde of Perkins, Debi Thacker of Belle Plaine, Kansas and Sandra Olsen of Derby, Kansas.
