Johnathin Ray Burnett, 35, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away on April 18, 2026. A memorial service will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 30, 2026 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Scott of Bible Baptist Church officiating. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Johnathin was born on September 23, 1990, to Shain Burnett and Cindy Johnston in Cushing, Oklahoma. He lived in California for a short time but spent most of his life in Oklahoma. He attended school in Stillwater and graduated from Stillwater High School in 2012.

Johnathin was known for his caring personality, kind heart, and willingness to help others. He found joy in giving back to his community, including delivering meals through Meals on Wheels and working with the Garden Crew at M-Power.

In his younger years, Johnathin was involved with Bible Baptist Church. His love for God continued throughout his adult life, and he always made sure to pray over his meals. He enjoyed spending his free time bowling, being out in nature, shopping, listening to and singing along with his favorite songs, and going to the movies with friends. He also had a special talent for completing word searches and puzzles.

Johnathin is preceded in death by his grandmother, Linda Sue Wilson.

He is survived by his parents, Shain Burnett and Cindy Johnston; his sisters, Loretta Lynn Burnett, DeAnn Marie Burnett, and Patti Marie Wilkerson; brothers, Shain Ray Burnett Jr., Travis Austin Bindt, and Deon Johnston. He is also survived by additional loved ones, including Candice Citizen; his godmother Devi Bright; his roommates Patrick and Danny; his extended family at Stillwater Group Homes and M-Power, as well as many other family members and friends who will cherish his memory.

Johnathin will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
