Celebration of life services for Joyce Nadine Donaldson will be at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, August 2, 2025 at Life Church in Stillwater, Oklahoma. (1917 N. Country Club Rd.)

Joyce passed away in the early morning hours on June 14, 2025 in the comfort of her home.

Joyce Nadine Donaldson was born March 23, 1958 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to Verlin and Anita Givens. She graduated from Stillwater High School in May of 1976 where she received her diploma as well as a certificate in Banking, Savings & Loan Services from Indian Meridian Vo-Tech. After graduation, Joyce worked during the holidays as the best gift wrapper for Ace Hardware for several years. Joyce spent most of her time in life caring for her family and friends, always willing to baby sit anytime someone needed. Joyce enjoyed crocheting afghans, making them for all her children, grandchildren, nieces and nephews as they would graduate from high school. Joyce was also an avid baker, always having something made anytime you stopped by. Every Christmas Joyce would spend her time baking goods to give as gifts to her friends and family.

Joyce married Rick L. Cook in August of 1983, divorcing after several years. In October of 1997 she married John R. Donaldson in Wagoner, Oklahoma and then moved to Orlando, Oklahoma. After their divorce, Joyce moved back to Stillwater where she enjoyed the rest of her life close to friends and family.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers-in-law, Ron Burk and Bob Garriott.

Survivors include her step-daughter; Christina (Cook) and her husband Tony Glossop; son Verlin Cook and his wife Jocelyn; son Justin Cook and his fiance Kolton; step-son Raymond Donaldson, step-son Thomas Donaldson, step-daughter Heather (Donaldson) and her husband Ron Wallace, step-daughter Erin (Donaldson) and her husband Cody Hicks, and step-daughter Traci Donaldson; 4 sisters, Oleta Whaley and her husband Ray, Vernita Garriott, Mary Ellen Curtis and her husband Donnie, and Darla Burk; 16 grandchildren and host nieces and nephews.
