Audrey June Hanson, lovingly known as June, age 79, of Stillwater, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on October 24, 2025, at her home in Stillwater. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Strode Funeral Home Chapel in Stillwater, with Pastor Russell Hughes officiating. A Graveside committal will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

June was born on August 2, 1946, in Altus, Oklahoma, to Earnest Elbert Woodall and Audrey Allene (Roberson) Woodall.

She graduated from Anadarko High School in 1964 and later earned a business degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University. June dedicated many years of her life as an administrative assistant and to her work in the field of agronomy

On May 27, 1966, June married the love of her life, John Michael Hanson, at the Anadarko Christian Church. They shared a beautiful marriage until his passing on September 21, 2005.
June had a passion for life that shone through in everything she did. She adored animals, enjoyed shopping, and cherished spending time with her grandchildren, who always brought a smile to her face.
June was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert and Audrey Woodall; and her brothers, Elbert Haldane Woodall and John Hanson.

She is survived by her sister, Darla Sharon Woodall McElroy; sons, Erik Hanson and Dustin Hanson; daughters Angel Hanson and Daina Hanson; Madison Dougan and her husband, Brady Dougan, and their daughter, Rylie Dougan; Lauren Sparks and her husband, Kyle Sparks, and their children, Koda, Ava, and Kayce Sparks; Elizabeth Hanson, and her children Brayden, Garrett, and Rylan Hanson; Brinkley Anderson, Presley Hanson, Amber Hanson, and Taylor Hanson.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Keri Zimmerman with Carter Home Health for her amazing care and compassion, and to Betty Cussen, a lifelong friend, for her steadfast love and support.

June will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her unwavering kindness, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.
