Kathy Burrell was born November 22, 1955 and went to be with our Lord on October 2, 2024. A memorial service will begin at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Glencoe Church of Christ.


Kathy always enjoyed the outdoors. She loved to play softball and could not wait for the weekends when tournaments were on the to do list. Kathy worked for Coca Cola filling the machines at the local manufacturer around town. Later, she worked at Moore Business Forms for many years before an injury caused her to stop working. She moved to Glencoe and started a country life where she loved her dog "Sissy". Kathy's favorite activity was caring for her truck which she was very protective of. You could find her outside on a mower cutting grass and weed eating, whether or not it needed it. Kathy was involved with her church and loved her church family.


Kathy is survived by a brother, Bob and his wife LaDeana Burrell, a sister Donna Bowman, two nephews, Robert Jr and his wife, Randi Burrell , Jasper and his wife Leah Litka, two nieces, Bridget and husband Jon Beaver, and Halona Cabe, and her very special family friend Brenda Stephens, and many great, and great-great nieces and nephews.


She was predeceased by her parents, Kenneth and Lucille Burrell, grandparents Tom and Arra Majors, Raymond and Bonnie Burrell, and a great nephew.


In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to St Jude's in her name.
