Kay Lynn Dragoo, age 80, died on Thursday, October 3, 2024 at her home at Perkins, Oklahoma.
Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. in the Norman I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Norman, Oklahoma.
Kay was born July 13, 1944 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma, to James Kyle Crouch and Goldia Lee Crouch. She married John Allen Dragoo on July 27,1963 at the First Baptist Church in Tecumseh, Oklahoma.
Kay attended Tecumseh High School and graduated in 1962. She attended Mid America Bible College where she received a Bachelor's of Science degree. She was employed by the State of Oklahoma in the Department of rehabilitative services. She was a member of the Immanuel Baptist Church in Perkins, Oklahoma. She loved out-fishing her husband, OU Softball, and her car club adventures.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her half-brother Jimmy Crouch.
Kay is survived by her husband John Allen Dragoo; her son John David Dragoo of Anna, Texas; her daughter Suzette Dragoo Barta of Perkins, Oklahoma; six grandchildren: Alec Barta and wife Sabina, Brandi Barta, Nathaniel Barta and wife Aspyn, Courtney Reneau and husband Curtis, Kyle Dragoo, and Carson Dragoo; and four great-grandchildren: Blaze Barta, Ranger Barta, Tanner Reneau and Harper Reneau.
