Larry Solomon Grim, 81 of Morrison, Oklahoma passed away on February 3, 2024. A memorial service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 10, 2024 at the Morrison Christian Church in Morrison. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Larry was born April 23, 1942 to George and Beatrice (Mitchell) Grim in Morrison, Oklahoma. He was a proud resident of Morrison, and graduated in 1960. Larry joined the reserves after high school before serving in the Navy from September 11, 1961 to September 10, 1963. He married Harriet BonDurant on January 25, 1975 and together they raised four children. He was a lifetime member of the Plumbers and Pipefitter Union Local 344. Larry was also a proud member of the Masonic Myrtle Lodge #145 and was set to receive his 50 year pin this year.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, George and Beatrice (Mitchell) Grim; his wife Harriet (BonDurant) Grim; brother-in-law James Keith Vencill; brother and sister-in-law Carol and Pat BonDurant; brother and sister-in-law Jack and Lila Mitchell; and sister-in-law Alberta BonDurant.

He is survived by his four children Amber Grim, Leon Grim, Randy Grim and Kyler (Rachel) Grim all of Morrison; his sister Beverly Vencill of Stillwater; grandchildren Aubrey Grim, Kaden Grim, Janaya Cooper and Jacobi Cooper; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was loved by many near and far. Thank you to the Morrison Community for a lifetime of memories.
