Obituary

With hearts full of gratitude and smiles for the memories, we celebrate the remarkable life of Lawrence Carl Noller, who peacefully departed this world on May 6, 2025 at the young age of 69. His journey, marked by kindness, laughter, and boundless generosity, leaves us richer in spirit and our hearts forever touched.

A celebration of Larry's wonderful life will be 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Saturday, June 7, 2025 at the Stillwater Community Center Dining and Event Hall, 315 W. 8th Ave. Stillwater, Oklahoma. Larry will be laid to rest in Miller Cemetery in Silverton, OR alongside his mother and sister.

We invite everyone who knew and loved him to join us in sharing memories, laughter, and maybe a few favorite stories.

Born on March 7, 1956 in Lafayette, Indiana, Larry dedicated his life to having fun, where he not only excelled but also uplifted everyone lucky enough to cross his path. Colleagues and friends remember him as a tough competitor and a team player with lots of experience and knowledge to share on the court and field.

Outside of his professional life spanning nearly four decades at the NewsPress, Larry's greatest joys were found in playing, teaching (as Assistant Golf Pro at Lakeside Golf Course) and watching golf, playing softball, going fishing, playing poker, watching football, bowling, and going to the movies. His quick wit, gentle humor, and love for friends and family filled our lives with happiness and countless fond stories to share. His good nature and gentle attitude were his hallmarks no matter where he went.

He is predeceased by his parents Eric C. and Janice L. Noller and his sister, Karen Marie Noller.

He is survived by his cousin and guardian, Kathy Kramer of Hermosa Beach, CA; cousin Kim Mullen and family of Portland, OR; cousin Mark MacKenzie and family also of Portland, OR; David Noller of El Sobrante, CA. Larry also has a wide circle of friends who were like his family. Each of us carries forward his legacy of joy, kindness, and friendship he gave us.

In lieu of customary remembrances, the family kindly asks that donations be made to your local Alzheimer's Association organization, a cause close to Larry's heart. Larry will be laid to rest in Miller Cemetery in Silverton, OR alongside his mother and sister.

Though we will miss him dearly, we smile knowing Larry's spirit continues to shine brightly in all of us.
