Leonard Ellis, age 93, was welcomed into his heavenly home on Tuesday, December 30, 2025. A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, January 5, 2026, in the Ingalls Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of arrangements.

Leonard was born on April 11, 1932, in Quay, Oklahoma, to Errick and Beatrice Ellis. He was a self-employed builder and an avid restorer of classic and antique automobiles, a passion he enjoyed throughout his life.

Leonard was blessed with 70 years of marriage to his beloved wife, Grace Carol Eurit. Together they raised three children, Susan and her husband Craig Boody, Linda and her husband Stacy Edmonds, and Leo "Buddy" and his wife Yve Ellis.

He is also survived by his grandchildren, Kristen Haga and her husband Travis Eastman, Tyler Haga and his wife Tara Cain, Caitlin Ellis, Allison Jackson and her husband Rooke, Rachael Jones and her husband Ryan, Jacob Ellis, and Jeremiah Ellis, as well as five great-grandchildren, a niece, Sharon Ford and her children, Trevor and Hillary Ford.

Leonard is preceded in death by his two sisters, Ellen McBee and Mary Louise Ellis.
