Linda L Doss was born August 22, 1949 in Hood River, Oregon. She passed September 22, 2024 in Glencoe, Oklahoma. Funeral services will begin 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 30, 2024 at the Glencoe United Methodist Church. Burial will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Woodland Memorial Park in Sand Springs, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Linda held various work positions, including cooking and working as a nurse's aid in Arkansas, and in Oklahoma. She spent 29 years working in the Student Union at Oklahoma State University as kitchen supervisor and retiring as housekeeping foreman. A servant leader before it was labeled, someone once called her one of the best supervisors on campus. Linda loved spending time with family and friends. Family card games and marathon Scrabble sessions with Pammie Royce were always fun. Linda also loved to help people. She enjoyed baking, traveling, and watching television, and movies.

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, her husband John Doss, siblings Peggy Baker, Shirley Doss, Ernie Baker, Tommy Baker, and Betty Beatty; a daughter Jamie Williams; two daughters-in-law, Tess Hammack and Kathy Williams; granddaughter, Brittney Hammack; her grandson Kodee Shane; as well as many brothers and sisters-in-law.

She is survived by son Mark Williams of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, son Scott Williams and girlfriend Kim Jones of Cushing, Oklahoma; daughter Fara Williams of Glencoe; 14 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, brothers and sisters-in-law Sherry Baker of Flint, Michigan, Ronnie and Lily Doss of Sand Springs, Richard and Anne Doss of St. Charles, Louisiana, Sam and Martha Doss of Bristow, Oklahoma; and Woody Shockley of Olive, Oklahoma; and countless nieces and nephews.
