Obituary

Lucinda Frazier (Parkerson) Hull, age 77, of Ardmore, OK, passed away peacefully on December 13, 2024, in Stillwater, OK. Born on December 16, 1947, in Pryor, OK, Lucinda lived a life dedicated to education, family, and adventure. Strode Funeral Home and cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

The daughter of John Harold Frazier and Martha Hillin Frazier, Lucinda grew up with a love of learning that led her to pursue a bachelor's degree in elementary education from the University of Central Oklahoma after attending Oklahoma State University. She went on to shape countless young lives as an elementary school and physical education teacher and tennis coach in Ardmore, OK, earning the prestigious Teacher of the Year award from Ardmore City Schools in 1996. Lucinda was a passionate advocate for education and a mentor to many, both within her family and the community.

Lucinda married Bill Parkerson on February 22, 1970, and they shared 26 years of marriage their son, Ragan, before divorcing in 1996. On June 25, 2001, she married Danny Wesley Hull, who preceded her in death on February 18, 2010.

After retiring, Lucinda embraced her love of travel, exploring countries around the world and making cherished memories along the way. Her family remembers her love of cooking and was the heart of holiday gatherings, where her famous homemade rolls were always a highlight.

She is survived by her son, Ragan Parkerson, and daughter-in-law, Melisa Parkerson, and her beloved granddaughter, Averly Parkerson, all of Stillwater, OK, her brother, John Michael Frazier, niece Elizabeth White and her husband Scott and their son Harrison all of Tulsa, OK, along with many cousins.

A gathering to honor Lucinda's life will be held at a later date in Ardmore, OK at a place to be determined. She will be laid to rest at Simon Cemetery in Wilson, OK, where her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will be cherished forever.
