Obituary

Mrs. Marolyn Kay McDuff, 67, died Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 12:48 a.m. at St. Francis Hospital in Muskogee. A memorial service will begin at noon, Saturday, February 10, 2024 at Perkins First United Methodist Church with Pastor Charles Durant officiating. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Marolyn was born in Stillwater, Oklahoma on July 2, 1956. She was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jack Dean and Eva M. Harrall. She attended Perkins High School. She married David Lee McDuff on October 28, 1989 at the Perkins First United Methodist Church. They moved to Guthrie in 1993 and returned to Stillwater in 1999. They continued to live in Stillwater until their separation on July 2, 2007. Marolyn then returned to Perkins.

Marolyn played the flute in the Perkins High School marching band, "Go Devils!", and excelled in creating crafts of all kinds. She could sew anything, and sold many of her custom creations at craft shows and fairs all over the state of Oklahoma. She loved working at Oklahoma State University as an administrative assistant for years and then worked for a Stillwater insurance agent. She pursued her sewing and crafts business,"Some Bunny Creations" for the rest of her days. Marolyn loved her mother Eva, the company of her good friends, Ed, Janet, Eric, Donna, Patsy, Carla, Jacque, her family, and her dogs!

Her father Jack Dean Harrall, 68, died November 5, 1995 in Perkins and her mother Eva Marolyn, 87, died March 9, 2017.

Marolyn is survived by her aunts and uncles, Carolyn Rosile of Wichita, Kansas, Kay and Jack Latta of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas; cousins Todd and Wendy Wensler, John Allen and Connie Wensler, Terri Lee (Wensler) and John Fryback, all of Ponca City, Oklahoma, Jerri Jo (Wensler) and Kevin Young of Tribune, Kansas, Jeff and Janelle Wensler of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Craig and Missy Wensler of Stillwater, Oklahoma, Jacquelyn Kay (Latta) Burnside of Conroe, TX, Barbara Latta of Little Rock Arkansas, Eddie and Lesia Latta of Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Tommie and Karen Latta of Amarillo, Texas, Jacqueline Kay (Latta) Burnside of Conroe, Texas Steven A. Rosile of Wichita, Kansas, and Shelby and James Thomas of QLD, Australia and sister in law Lisha McDuff.
