Mary Jane Ramsey, age 68, of Ripley, Oklahoma, passed away on January 15, 2025, in Stillwater, Oklahoma. A service to honor her life will be held on January 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at the Ripley Church of God, located at 301 E Phillips, Ripley, OK, officiated by her brother, Rick Wilkerson. Her ashes will be interred at a later date at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Ripley, alongside her beloved husband, Bill.

Born on September 9, 1956, in Torrance, California, Mary was the daughter of the late William Dearl Wilkerson and Doris Maxine Wilkerson. She graduated from Ripley High School and furthered her education at Francis Tuttle Vocational School, where she earned her Dietary Management Certification. She worked as a dietician, dedicating her life to the care and well-being of others.

Mary married the love of her life, William "Bill" Ernest Ramsey, on May 27, 1977. Their union brought five children and countless cherished memories. Bill preceded her in death on October 6, 2001, at the age of 51.

A devoted member of the Ripley Church of God, Mary found joy in her faith and her community. She loved reading, watching Hallmark movies, roller skating, online shopping, and baking with her granddaughter Kristin. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, William and Doris Wilkerson; her husband, Bill Ramsey; her father-in-law, William S. Ramsey Jr.; her mother-in-law, Erna Anna Amerseder Ramsey; her sister, Maxine Ross; her brother, Bill Wilkerson Jr.; her granddaughter, Isabel Grace Wren; and three nephews.

She is survived by her five children: Tim Sean Ramsey of Ripley; Kristoffer Jacob Ramsey and fiancée Cortney of Ripley; Kimberly Nicole Wren and husband Josh of Edmond; Ryan Tyler Ramsey and wife Jessica of Collinsville; Cory Austin Ramsey and wife Kinzi of Stillwater. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Andrew Mitchell and fiancée Lory, Kristin Ramsey, Emily Wren, Reese Wren, Charlotte Ramsey, Cassiopeia Ramsey, Jordyn Ramsey, Blair Ramsey, and her great-granddaughter Yaretzi.

Mary is also survived by her siblings: Joyce Ross and husband Mike of Ponca City; Shirley Studebaker and husband John of Drumright; Sheryl Vaughan and husband Buddy of Cushing; Rick Wilkerson and wife Tami of Irvine, Kentucky; Larry Wilkerson and wife Kelly of Stillwater. She leaves behind her brother-in-law, Gaylord Ross of Ponca City, numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of extended family and friends who will deeply miss her warmth, humor, and unwavering love.

Mary's family would like to express their gratitude for the support and prayers during this time.

Her kindness, faith, and devotion to her loved ones will forever be remembered and cherished by all who knew her.
