Myron Thomas "Cotton" German, 96, of Stillwater passed away January 19, 2025. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 p.m. Monday, February 3, 2025 at the Strode Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Norman Richmond officiating. Burial will follow in Fairlawn Cemetery. Strode Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Myron was born May 11, 1928 to Amos and Ruby (Luster) German near Pawnee. He went to school in Mulhall.

He joined the U.S. Marine Corp in 1950 and served one year in Korea, earning a purple heart. After returning home in 1952 he married Wanetha Dean and they lived in Oceanside, California until 1953.

Myron worked in grocery stores before he became a mail carrier in Stillwater, retiring from the U.S. Postal Service after 27 years of service.

Myron is preceded in death by his wife, Wanetha in 2012.

He is survived by his sons, Myris German of Caw City, Maurice and his wife Jackie of Stillwater, Morris and his wife Michelle of Stillwater; granddaughters Jamie and husband Cory, Kelly, Carrie and husband Kyle, Cristie and husband Drew, Melanie and husband Mike, Monica and husband Kevan; and six great grandsons.
