Oscar Dee Porter, 92, passed away on Sunday August 4, 2024 at his home near Glencoe, Oklahoma. Graveside services will begin at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in Sunset Memorial Gardens and Mausoleum, 6500 S Perkins Rd, Stillwater, Oklahoma. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Oscar Dee Porter was one of 13 children born to Elmer and Velma Porter on May 26, 1932 in Stillwater, Oklahoma. He married the love of his life Dorothy May Watkins on August 18, 1951.

Dee and Dorothy farmed and were owners of a trucking company that contracted to haul mail.
He enjoyed camping and riding horses with family and working puzzles.

Dee was preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother.

Members of his family include his wife, Dorothy; his sons Gerald, wife Debbie, David, wife Pamela, both of Glencoe, Oklahoma; daughters Janet Zahn of Saratoga, Wyoming and Deanna Orr, husband Paul, of South Fork, Colorado; 7 grandkids; 15 great-grandkids; 4 great great-grandkids and many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank Karman Legacy Hospice for the care they gave Dee in his final days.
