Patsy Ann Henley, 69 sadly passed away on January 22, 2024 due to health complications. Friends may visit with the family on Friday January 26, 2024 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Strode Funeral Home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday January 27, 2024 at Christian Union Church in Tryon with graveside to follow.

Patsy was born in Cushing, OK to A.C. McIntire and Betty McIntire Savory on February 16, 1954. Patsy worked as a head cook at the Perkins-Tryon Elementary for many years where she retired from.

On December 15, 1973 she married the love of her life Wesley Henley and they had three daughters Sandi, Pepper, and Misty. They were married for 40 years until his death. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards but did not like to lose. She enjoyed spending time with family and especially her grandkids and they loved when she took them to the store for snacks.

Patsy is preceded in death by her father A. C. McIntire and her husband Wesley Henley.

She is survived by her mom Betty McIntire Savory, three daughters Sandi Henley, Pepper Henley, Misty Wright and husband Jesse Wright, six grandchildren Cody Henley and wife Cecilie Henley, Trey Wallace, Shelbi and husband Eric Kingston, Cheyenne Wright, Colton Henley, and Austin Wright. Four great grandchildren Levi Henley, Makenlee Henley, Savannah Kingston, Kayden Kingston. Three brothers Larry McIntire and wife Valerie, David McIntire and wife Cindy, Gary McIntire and wife Becky and numerous other family and friends.

Pallbearers are Jesse Wright, Cody Henley, Trey Wallace, Colton Henley, Austin Wright, Joey Henley and honorary pallbearer Levi Henley.
