With great sadness, we announce the death of Paulette Murphy age 82 of Billings, Oklahoma. Paulette was born in 1942 to Tollie and Iva Lee Greenway in Jerome, Arkansas. She later married James Murphy in 1966. Paulette and James raised five children in Mesquite, Texas.

Paulette attended El Centro College in Dallas and graduated with a nursing degree. Paulette passed her nursing board that same year and began working at a local hospital. Paulette retired in 2008. Paulette and James later moved to Billings, Oklahoma to enjoy retirement. Paulette was a member of Sovereign Grace Baptist Church.

Paulette is preceded in death by parents, Tollie and Iva Lee Greenway; brothers, Herbert and Rev. Cecil Greenway. Sister, Virgina Long.

Paulette is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, James Murphy; Brother, James Greenway and wife, Alice; Sister Juanita Allen; children Greg Murphy and wife Carol; Bonny Woods; David Murphy and wife, Shelia; Michelle Jessee and husband, Steve; Janna Dicken and husband, Glen; ten Grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews who loved her. Graveside service at Polo Cemetery will be later announced in the Spring.
