Peg Meredith Pierce, 62, of Tryon, died Friday, October 6, 2023 at her home surrounded by family. Strode Funeral Home and Cremation is in charge of the arrangements.

Peg was born to Donald Robert and Etta Jean (Jackson) Calhoon on July 5, 1961 in St. Louis, Missouri.

She attended Dexter High School and Meridian Vo-Tech. One of her hobbies was painting ceramics.

Peg is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Timothy Ray Calhoon.

She is survived by her husband Todd; son Joshua D. Middleton; daughter Amanda D. Middleton; her grandchildren, Koda Middleton, Alyssa McCutcheon, and Adilyn McCutcheon; great grandchildren, Maddison and Forrest Middleton; as well as her brothers, Rory and Bob Calhoon.
